– The “# races” column will show the number of races issued for that track on that date.
– The “# hit” column will show the number of races hit for win (a ticket cashed) on that day.
– Under each of the three “. . . pays” columns will be shown all of the payoffs for the hits that day – for win, exacta and trifecta . . . assuming the wagers were made as per the guidelines given in the Index.
(We include in the stats: Hits/payoffs got by using only the Basic Betting Plan, hits/payoffs got by using the optimized betting plan as outlined in the spreadsheet offered subscribers, and – since some are exotics bettors almost exclusively – who spread their tickets from among the Index horses – we will show all the winning horses that hit from the Index with their exotics pays.
The color coding is: Basic betting plan hits in light green / Wins from the optimized betting plan (only) will be in gold / Wins that qualified for both the basic and optimized betting plans will be in bright green / the other hits that occurred in the Index, but were either too low for win betting, or otherwise didn’t qualify for a win wager in the betting guidelines (i.e. were for exotics consideration only) will be in blue. *
